Job Purpose / Executive Summary
The Supply Chain Management Officers are responsible for offering the advice to Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer on all matters pertaining to Procurement by developing and guiding the implementation of policies for supply chain managemen
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing initiatives to identify and mitigate risks in supply chain management at CUE
- Analyzing trends and emerging issues in supply chain management and making appropriate recommendations
- Updating customer requirements as and when necessary
- Compiling information on the unit annual budget
- Developing new initiatives to improve operational efficiencies
- Analyzing the impact of supply chain management policies and regulations
- Ensuring the correct interpretation and application of the Public Procurement and Disposal Act and other statutes, policies, rules, and regulations that may impact on the supply chain management
- Coordinating implementation of work plan activities
- Verifying lists of prequalified suppliers and other service providers
- maintaining procurement records
- Providing secretarial services to procurement committees
